Neka Art Museum – a Fascinating painting Museum


Neka Art Museum is aneka 2n art museum collecting both ancient and modern paintings from famous artists. The museum is located in Jalan Raya Campuhan, Kedewatan, Ubud, Gianyar regency. It would take about 1.5 hours to reach this museum from Kuta area. This museum was established in 1982 and was founded by Suteja Neka, an art teacher who liked to collect paintings. Neka Art Museum achieved high standards as an international museum standing, the buildings in the museum area is designed and decorated with Balinese architecture. All the buildings and artwork in this museum is maintained well which makes this museum look neat and became one of the most visited museum in Ubud.

Every year, the collection in this Neka-Art-Museum-42404museum will continue to grow, and by now, there are approximately 300 pieces of beautiful paintings displayed in this museum. In Neka Art Museum, visitors get to see masterpieces from the famous artist from all over the world, artworks from famous Indonesian artists can also be found in this museum. The admission fee to this museum is Rp 50.000 for adults and free for children under 12 years old, Neka Museum is opened Monday to Saturday from 09:00am until 17:00pm and 13:00pm until 17:00pm on Sundays. The museum is closed on national holidays and Hindu holidays. Neka Art Museum is a great art museum to visit, it would give great inspiration and a wonderful experience especially for visitors who likes arts and paintings.
